The Happening ArtsPark 2018 is rapidly approaching and, crafters, you are wanted! Registration is still open. The Happening and ArtsPark have joined forces this year and we would love to have you join us on Saturday, June 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm at Parkdale Park in Hintonburg.
The folks at Ottawa Biosphere Eco-City (OBEC) are looking for 10 volunteer facilitators to help develop a community sustainability plan for Hintonburg. The result of the exercise will be an agenda for action that community members develop by identifying issues and projects for 10 themes of sustainability.
The City of Ottawa recently began a review of our rooming house licensing by-law. The exercise examines the following subjects: definition of a rooming house, illegal rooming houses and private home conversions.
