About the HCA

We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-led group of local citizens who are eager to make a difference by working with you or on your behalf to protect and enhance the quality of life enjoyed by residents, business owners, employees and visitors to our neighbourhood of Hintonburg in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Ours is a very active community association with a hard-earned reputation for innovation, collaboration, effectiveness and fairness. Volunteers are the life-blood of our organization.

Location

Hintonburg is bordered by Scott Street on the north, the O-Train railway line to the east, the Queensway (Highway 417) on the south and Holland Avenue to the west.

Meetings

Our annual general meeting typically takes place the third week of September. Watch our events column for the exact date each year. Minutes of previous AGMs are available upon demand.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are normally held the first Monday of every month (unless it is on a statutory holiday, then it is held the following Monday) at the Hintonburg Community Centre – all members are welcome to attend.

Membership

Membership is open to all residents, property owners, and proprietors of businesses in Hintonburg.

You may join for only $5 yearly or $20 for five years.
