After being alerted to a number of racist incidents in Hintonburg, the Hintonburg Community Association set up an anti-racism committee to ensure that the HCA is an active ally in the fight against racism. The committee works to ensure that we apply an anti-racist lens to all of our work, including on zoning and development and safety and security issues.
In the fall of 2022, we renamed the committee Inclusive Communities.
