Hintonburg Community Sustainability Plan
The folks at Ottawa Biosphere Eco-City (OBEC) are looking for 10 volunteer facilitators to help develop a community sustainability plan for Hintonburg. The result of the exercise will be an agenda for action that community members develop by identifying issues and projects for 10 themes of sustainability.

The City of Ottawa recently began a review of our rooming house licensing by-law. The exercise examines the following subjects: definition of a rooming house, illegal rooming houses and private home conversions.

Mrs. Frances Magee (ca 1805- 1883) Frances Magee never lived in Hintonburg but she was an early investor in the area that would become the Village of Hintonburg in 1893.
