Hintonburg and neighbouring communities have really stepped up to help 18 displaced tenants.
January 18, 2026 a fire broke out in the rooming house at 65 Armstrong. This rooming house was home to 19 residents. Tragically one of the tenants died in the fire. The other 18 tenants have been displaced and it will take many months for the building to undergo repairs.
