Come celebrate over 20 years of arts in Hintonburg and immerse yourself in the colourful tapestry of the community, connecting with artists and fellow art enthusiasts alike on Saturday, June 14!!
Join the Hintonburg Community Association for ArtsPark 2025!
Enjoy the local crafter market showcasing over 40 artisans as well as FREE Henna tattoos, pottery wheel demonstrations, a fire truck visit, activities and games, live painting, community resource tables, live music, and more on the Pat Macleod Community Stage. And you won’t want to miss an Art Throwdown and headliner, Lucky Ron.
The HCA is pleased to announce the return of the 100 Mile Literary Diet in partnership with local bookstore The Spaniel’s Tale and a group of local authors. You will have the opportunity to meet over 10 local authors!

ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES!
Bring the kids to play! There will be so many activities for all ages!
- Join the Urban Art Collective to create your very own Art Button for FREE!
- Hintonburg Pottery will be offering demos on the potter’s wheel and have their gorgeous wares available for sale.
- The 100 Mile Literary Diet returns in partnership with local bookstore The Spaniel’s Tale and a group of local authors. You will have the opportunity to meet over 10 local authors!
- A firetruck from Ottawa Fire Services – Station 11 will stop by for a visit at noon
- Designs By Mumtaz will be painting FREE Henna tattoos (11:00 am-3:00 pm
- Angela Mcgowan and Soraya Design Studio will be live painting in the park!
- An opportunity to learn more about the Hintonburg Community Association, buy a famous “Hintonburg” T-Shirt, and enter a raffle to win a season pass for 2 at the Great Canadian Theatre Company!
- Staff from the Hintonburg Community Centre will be offering kids activities and games (11:00 am-3:00 pm). PLUS, GIANT Blue Blocks, GIANT Jenga and Pop-a-Shot will be available to play around with!
- PLUS Merry Dairy will be dishing out their famous soft serve from 11:00am to 4:00pmand the Carleton Tavern will be having a BBQ on their patio from 11:00 am – 2:00pm
THE HAPPENING ART THROWDOWN!!!
Join The Happening Art Throwdown in front of the Pat Macleod Community Stage for a celebration of our local visual arts community. Watch as our guest artists compete in three rounds where anything goes — painting, sketching, assembling, printing, YOU, the audience, will choose your favourite artwork by secret ballot. Once the winning artist is crowned, you will have the opportunity to buy the artwork from the artists! Be there to watch it all go down at 3:00pm in Parkdale Park at the Pat Macleod Community Stage.

Interested in volunteering on June 14th?
Roles to be filled include postering, set-up/teardown, monitoring road barricades, greeting attendees and providing information, garbage and recycling assistance, and photography.
Please fill out form HERE and indicate if you have volunteered in previous years and/or you have a preferred role.
Also indicate if you have first aid training. For students, the minimum age to volunteer on barricades is 16 with a driver’s license, or 18 without a driver’s license.
