The folks on the READ Rosemount Group have been citizens’ advocate for ensuring that our library branch is an expanded, fully functional and up to date facility. They’ve had a busy year.
Our beloved Rosemount Avenue Branch will see significant activity in 2018. The 100th anniversary falls this year: that will be certainly something to celebrate.
As well, renovations will commence before the year is out. This will result in the closure of the branch on into 2019 with a temporary location being established to ensure service continuity.
Here is a copy of the READ Group’s 2017 Annual Report detailing their activities on behalf of the Rosemount Branch’s catchment area, which stretches from as far east as Bronson, west into Westboro, south into the Civic Hospital area and along Carling Avenue.
