We are all saddened by the loss of Christy Bacque, a long-time resident and a former HCA Board Member.
Christy was also a former editor of our newsletter and, along with her husband, Ben, a dedicated volunteer at the annual Kris Kringle Event. If you ever enjoyed a hot chocolate or a cookie at Kris Kringle, it was thanks to Christy! Christy was a constant, positive presence in our community and was always ready to help when help was needed, including just a few weeks ago as a HCA safety walk volunteer.
Neighbours say she was the glue that helped bring and hold her street together. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
