Our neighbours in Mechanicsville just experienced a traumatic event with the homicide that took place around 3:40 a.m. on Carruthers Avenue just north of Hintonburg.
It is early days in the police investigation. It appears to have been a targeted killing and not directly related to the neighbourhood. The victim has been identified as a Toronto man.
