Annual President’s Report
The Hintonburg Community Association ends our year in great shape with new blood on the board of directors mixing fresh ideas with the experience of longer serving members.
Our year began with the Hintonburg Craft Fair and Kringle followed by our Street Hockey Tournament. Warmer weather brought on Arts Park (now partnered with The Happening), our 5K Run, Dog Movie Night partnership with Global Pet Foods and our new and popular Yoga in the Park put on with Parkdale Pops and Pranashanti.
Other events and activities not mentioned here are equally important. We have been busy on many fronts: Zoning, Security, Arts, Environment, Cycling, Heritage, Traffic and Communications. We monitor what is happening in our community and are proactive with stakeholders.
We’ve rejuvenated our website and social media presence providing timely dissemination of information, efficient exchanges of information and better stakeholder engagement. We are renewing our priorities through community outreach to ensure we remain relevant to community needs.
Two groups enable us to be effective and successful:

- Our volunteers, hundreds over the year. Our community has a great legacy of volunteerism. We encourage anyone who wants make a difference to become involved in our great community and join our efforts to keep improving Hintonburg’s quality of life. We are always happy to hear from you.
